The Archaeological Collection of Galaxidi brings together finds from the wider area of Galaxidi, shedding light on different aspects of life in antiquity, from private and public life to commercial activity and burial customs. The exhibits cover a particularly long chronological period, from the Bronze Age to the end of antiquity, thus reflecting the continuity and historical course of the area through time. Through its exhibits, the collection presents in a comprehensive way the development and historical journey of this small maritime town over the centuries. The permanent exhibition includes more than 300 objects, which came to light during rescue excavations or were donated by private individuals. Among the most important exhibits are a two-handled Early Helladic amphora, a red-figure pelike, a glass vessel bearing the inscription «ΕΥΦΡΑΙΝΟΥ ΕΦΩ ΠΑΡΕΙ» and a bronze diadem.
