Στο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Χίου εκτίθενται αντιπροσωπευτικά δείγματα της τέχνης και της καθημερινής ζωής στο νησί από τους νεολιθικούς έως και τους ρωμαϊκούς χρόνους. Παρουσιάζονται ευρήματα προερχόμενα από τους προϊστορικούς οικισμούς του νησιού, χαρακτηριστικά έργα του περίφημου χιώτικου εργαστηρίου γλυπτικής, επιγραφές, νομίσματα, πλούσια συλλογή αγγείων, ευρήματα από τα μεγάλα ιερά, ψηφιδωτά δάπεδα και επιτύμβιες στήλες.

Archaeological Museum of Chios
The Archaeological Museum of Chios presents exhibits from everyday life and art on the island dating from the Neolithic period to the Roman era. Finds from the Prehistoric settlements, significant sculptures from the famous school of sculpture developed on the island, inscriptions, coins, a rich collection of vases as well as objects from the great sanctuaries, mosaics, and funerary stelae (tombstones) are exhibited.
