Η Αρχαιολογική Συλλογή Αταλάντης, η οποία ταυτίζεται με τον αρχαίο Οπούντα, στεγάζεται στο ιστορικό διατηρητέο κτήριο του Παλαιού Γυμνασίου της πόλης. Εκεί εκτίθενται αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα από ανασκαφές στην περιοχή της ανατολικής Λοκρίδας και του βορειοανατολικού τμήματος της αρχαίας Φωκίδας, καλύπτοντας το διάστημα από τη νεολιθική έως τη ρωμαϊκή περίοδο.

Archaeological Collection of Atalanti, Phthiotis

The Archaeological Collection of Atalanti, a city that may be identified as ancient Opous, is housed in the Old High School of Atalanti, a building that has been declared a protected monument. Archaeological finds from excavations in the area of Eastern Lokris and the Northeast part of ancient Phocis are on display covering the period from the Neolithic era to the Roman times.
