Κατασκευάσθηκε στην ελληνιστική εποχή, αλλά έχει υποστεί μετασκευές στα ρωμαϊκά χρόνια. Σώζονται τρεις σειρές από το λίθινο κοίλο, ο κεντρικός και ο πεταλόσχημος αγωγός της ορχήστρας και το κτήριο της ρωμαϊκής σκηνής.

Ancient Theatre of Maronia, Rodopi
It was constructed in the Hellenistic period and remodelled in Roman times. Preserved are: three rows of stone seats of the cavea, the central and the horseshoe-shaped conduit of the orchestra, and the building of the Roman skene.
