The Monastery of Agios Nikolaos "Lemonion" is located in the forest on the western slope of the "Stavros" mountain. Next to it is the small monastery of Agios Ioannis Kalyvitis. There is no explicit testimony about the year the Monastery was founded. The year 1742, which is written under the base of the bell tower, may be the year of its foundation or renovation. The architecture of the church of Agios Nikolaos is a single-aisle basilica. The temple is built of common mud stones. The entrance to the temple is through two doors. The interior of the temple is simply decorated. The small colored crosses and stars that decorate the dome are the work of Nikolaos Andrianos, son and student of the Salaminian iconographer Dimitrios Andrianos.
